Who is Jane Bishop?

Jane Bishop is founder and CEO of Take the Next Step which emerged out of her passion to help others “go for their It.” Her business offers coaching, consulting, and training services that empower individuals, groups, and organizations by connecting them with their potential for success.   Jane has over 25 years of experience in training and leading people in four environments: academic, athletic, national corporate company and as a business owner. She works with groups in team development/strengthening; facilitates strategy conversations for teams and businesses to define purpose, develop a strategic plan and implement action steps. Jane also delivers training modules customized around a client objectives.  See what others are saying.

A strong communicator, Jane has been the keynote speaker at these type of events: business, networking groups, church, women’s ministry, weekend retreats, and national platforms across the United States.  Her style is contagious as she uses her God-given gifts and skills to help others “get it” as she delivers with authenticity, excellence and energy.

Jane has degrees from three institutions:  Samford University (B.S. in Education),  University of Alabama Birmingham (M.A. in Education) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (M.A.C.E. in Christian Education). She is also certified in the following:

Jane is a life-long learner and follows her belief that “when a person stops learning, they stop living.”

Jane resides in a suburb of Atlanta, GA. She enjoys music, sports, reading, photography and staying fit. She is also a worship leader and soloist. She has written for several periodicals and was a contributing writer to Interpersonal Relationship Skills for Ministry  textbook for NOBTS.  Jane is also a contributing author to the Amazon Best Seller, Overcoming Mediocrity: Remarkable Women and has published her first solo book, The Bread Box, Life By The Slice.
